Arcadia Art Center is dedicated to the development and strengthening of the students’ and artists’ foundation in figurative sculpture and drawing. Situated 60 km south of Oslo, Norway, on the east coast of Oslofjord, AAC offers short and long term courses in figurative sculpture and drawing. Courses include modeling of the figure, modeling the bust, drawing and figure drawing. The essential goal is to teach the students ‘to see’ and thus develop a visual vocabulary based on form and movement. Ultimately these skills must work their way into the student’s subconscious, leaving him/her free to focus directly on their work’s intent. 

I have been teaching privately, lecturing to college art classes as well as teaching in public schools (grades 1-12). My experience has been a positive one throughout the years and one of great pleasure; the sharing of knowlege, short and long term relationships that  have evolved in so many different ways. To watch one's skill, insight and understanding develop feeds the driving force to continually seek out new talents and devoted students. It is a perpetual learning experience for all.

Arcadia ArT Center (under veiledning av Bruce Naigles) har ledige plasser. AATC fungerer som et felles atelier delt mellom 5 elever som jobber individuelt i sin egen 24/7  man kan jobbe når man vil.

AATC har utviklet seg til å bli et dynamisk og lærerikt kunstutviklingsmiljø hvor  elevene trives godt. Tidligere studenter forteller om stor utvikling, sterkere kreative  ferdigheter og høyere selvtillit.

AATC er en kunstsenter og avholder ikke eksamen.
